Nourhan Sharif has been a practitioner of the healing art of Raks Sharqi (aka Bellydance) for 30 years, specializing in Egyptian, Lebanese Cabaret and Folkloric Dance. With an intimate knowledge of Arabic custom and culture, Nourhan is an award-winning performer and teacher of numerous workshops throughout the globe. Nourhan has promoted the visibility and preservation of this art form and continues to do so in her nurturance of beginner and intermediate dancers. She has produced, sponsored, and, directed festivals, galas, musical compilations, and instructional videos.
