Laura Jeffers fell in love with Lindy Hop over fifteen years ago. Since then, she has: Studied extensively with Frankie Manning, Paul Grecki, and Steven Mitchell… Taught regular classes for thirteen years and classes and workshops at camps and events… Placed in and judged numerous competitions… Performed at events and venues including Radio City Music Hall, Brooklyn Children's Museum, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and Remembering the Freedoms Festival in Las Vegas… Produced and co-produced dozens of events, including Frankie’s 85th Birthday Bash at Roseland Ballroom… Co-founded LindyHopNYC with Matt Bedell… And directed and choreographed for the Big Apple Lindy Hoppers, performance troupe of the New York Swing Dance Society.  As a teacher, she is known for helping students at all levels build their partnering skills and personal styles and grow as creative, expressive social dancers.
