Jessi Patz
Jessica Patz has danced all over the world- with Mia Michaels in Florida and Cynthia Gonzalez in Dresden, Germany; with Becky Radway and Maria Bauman, among others, in New York; in Europe, South America, and the Mediterranean; and, most recently, in Africa, where she taught salsa in exchange for traditional Ghanaian dance training with the Ghana Cultural Ballet.  In addition to her storied career in modern dance, she has a passion for social dances of all kinds.  She teaches occasional swing, salsa, and modern dance in New York City public schools, the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center, and the Alvin Ailey Extension.  She has studied and performed Lindy Hop with Frankie Manning, Paul Grecki, Bill Kline, and Roddy Caravella, and is currently a member of the Big Apple Lindy Hoppers. Jessi is known for her "spot-rocking" – challenging strangers to dance-offs – and for not working on her not for profit, non-movement organization called "The Laziests".
