Felix Pitre, a graduate of NYU, studied Theatre at famed Stella Adler Conservatory. It was during his tenure there that he was first exposed to social dancing.  Since then, Felix has studied Lindy Hop with numerous instructors, national and local, including the late great Frankie Manning.  He has performed at numerous events throughout New York City, including opening for Jennifer Hudson, and in various troupes: The Big Apple Lindy Hoppers and The Lindy Hop All-Stars to name a few.  Felix has also co-wrote an educational song and dance show about jazz-era music and social dance that premiered in Washington, DC.  Regarded for his positive demeanor and attention to detail to each of his students, he along with his dance partner, Jessi Patz, are popular instructors.
