Maitri Kumar comes to You Should Be Dancing with 20 years training in styles including Bollywood, Bharat Natyam (Indian Classical), Raas (Indian Traditional), Bhangra and hiphop. She has danced with a Bollywood dance company in New York City as well as trained under well-known hiphop dancers/choreographers including Rhapsody, Eric Negron, Flash and Bam. She has performed in countless shows and festivals including the 2009 Fred Astaire Awards Show for Broadway and has been invited to be a judge in the national intercollegiate Bollywood competition, Muquabla 2010.
